How to have Triplets!

Here, I will explain the method I used to have triplets. I did some research beforehand, and what I did worked, so I'll explain exactly what I did.

Before having the sims try for a baby, I gave both a fertility treatment. You can do this by either buying it for 10000 lifetime reward points, or you can buy it from the hospital. After that, try for the baby and wait until the mother is preggo. This happened for me about midnight. There's only two days that she's preggo, so plan your time wisely!

First day of Pregnancy
So the next day, have the mother read a pregnancy book. There are two, so buy both. One is (Baby Incoming: Prepare With Vigliance, and the other is Totally Preggers: An Expecting Mother's Tale). Read one for now. :)

This is also very important!! - While the mother is reading, have Kidz Zone turned on the tv, and have Kids music playing on a stereo in the same room!

So, it's time to decide whether you want girl or boy triplets! For girl triplets, have the mother eat three watermelons, and for boys, have her eat three apples!

Second (and final) day of Pregnancy
If the father hasn't read a pregnancy book, it couldn't hurt, especially if one of your sims wishes for the father to read one. I had my father read one.
Again, I actually kept the tv and stereo on Kids all day and all night. ^^;
Have the mother read the second pregnancy book on this day.

The babies are coming!
My mother went to bed that night, but woke up a bit after midnight to have the baby. While her husband was panicking and running all over the house, River just casually walked out the door, grabbed a taxi, and went into the hospital. :)

It usually takes a couple hours in Sim time to have the triplets, but after she's done, you'll be redirected to Create a Sim mode to change the mothers clothes. Hopefully, you got the triplets you wanted, and you get to name each one right after the other.
As for me, I named my three baby girls April, May, and June. (How original...)

Good luck!

Life Time Wish - Surrounded by Family! Tips :) How I did it.

With the Surrounded by Family lifetime wish, you need to raise 4 babies to teenagers! I wish I could tell you it's not that hard, but I'd be lying. It's a LOT of work, and you'll need to give up a lot temporarily to take care of the babies and toddlers.

Preparation
Now, the easiest way to get this done quickly is to either have triplets and then another baby (like I did) or by having two sets of twins. I prefer to just have triplets, because with only 1 space left in the household it guarantees that you'll have one more baby. I'll put a link here- - to explain how to get triplets. Since a Sim household can only have 6 Sims, you need to start off with a mom and dad - only two parents. Try for a baby and make sure you dedicate an entire room to the children. I had one of the cheapest houses in the game, so all I did was expand the walls to make more space. I would recommend you DON'T put the cribs in  the parents room because it will constantly wake up the parents (unless they both have the heavy sleeper trait.) Also make sure the parents get a high-quality bed - they'll need to get their rest! I also recommend that at least one of the parents quit their job so that you have time for them.

Babies!
A babysitter is fine when they're babies, but this way you can't really build a relationship with them at a young age. I kept the mother, River, at home at all times, and her husband, Blaine, was in the middle of the athletic career track and kept his job. I even hired a maid to clean the house every day (Cell Phone> Call for Services > Maid) because it really is time-consuming to take care of kids. It's only $125 a day, not too bad at all. On top of that, both my parents were Slobs. ^__^' This was much needed. With 2 or more babies, it's likely you'll need to get a parent to wake up in the middle of the night to satisfy their many needs. Like I said, you'll need to give up a few things. I had no time to work on my parents' skills, watch Tv, or even cook at times.

Toddlers!
When the babies are finally toddlers, you might think it gets much easier, right? Haha, nope. ): Have another baby right after they age, or another set of twins if you did it that way. Add another crib to the room, and buy around 3 toys to keep the toddlers entertained. (Doll House= +Social need; Peg Box= +Logic; Xylophone=+Guitar) The FIRST THING you need to do is potty train them, which doesn't take too long. You'll save a lot of time if you don't have to constantly change diapers, and the maid will empty the potty. After that, I started teaching them to talk and walk. I didn't do this all at once, I just did it whenever I had the time and they weren't sleeping. The parents sort of went into a cycle where the wife was basically nocturnal, and the husband could do his day job/ teach the toddlers in his free time.

It gets much, much easier to manage once they're all children, minus all the homework. The parents finally get some alone time (I swear River and Blaine did not speak to each other once while raising these brats.)

I did this in a very small house (y'know, one of those 15k houses with only one bathroom/bedroom). So don't think it's not possible, it's just crazy!! Good luck! :)

There's a plate on my hand!

I'm gonna call this glitch the plate bracelet.
If your Sim ever finishes cooking, eating, or washing the dishes, and they walk away with a plate attached to their hand, they are not making a fashion statement. It's another glitch. FEAR NOT! Everytime this has happened to me, it is only temporary. It looks awkward and annoying, I know. But if your Sim just keeps doing activities like normal, it's sure to go away. Here's a picture (not mine):

Overalls guy: Janice.. I um.. don't think we should see each other anymore. The thing on your hand... it's not gonna work out.
Janice: No! Please! It's only temporary, I swear!!!

Seeds Glitch

Another glitch you may encounter (maybe it's just me?) while playing Sims 3 is not being able to pick up seeds off the ground.
If you don't know by now, the process goes: find seed>pick it up and it goes in your inventory>go to build/buy mode>place the seed from your family inventory onto some nice dirt and have your sim plant it in that spot back in live mode. WELL NOW. This worked for me the first time I tried to make a garden, and it my garden was quite exquisite if I do say so myself. However, I recently started a new game, and I am unable to pick up anymore seeds. When I hover my green ray of light over the seed, it doesn't outline the seed or give me an option to pick it up anymore. **This still works with rocks, however**. Why is this? I have no answer besides the fact that it must be a glitch. I've tried to solve this by restarting my game, but still nothing. /: If anyone has a solution, Yoshi and I would LOVE it. If I figure something out, I shall update it in the comments!

Loopy Sound Glitch

So, besides the fact that this game is incredible, there are no doubt gonna be a few glitches going on while you play. I'm just gonna warn you about the first one I encountered while playing, and this is what I call it:

Looped Failure Music:
I'd like to say about 2 months ago(?) I had a Sim named TayTay, and one midnight I began to hear a sound effect which kept looping OVER AND OVER. It would last continuously for days, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. The sound is actually a sound effect which plays when you fail a job oppurtunity. TayTay was in the culinary career track, and this is the glitch. I believe she was on the 6th level of the culinary career, and she didn't turn a job oppurtunity on time; thus the music.
I did some research, and I'm sorry to break it to anyone having this problem also, but the only way to fix this (that worked for me) was quitting her job. The music ceased right after doing this. Alternatively... you can turn the volume off on your sound effects by pressing Start>Audio Options>Sound Effects, but this way you can't hear things like the shower running, doorbells, music, etc. :(
I'll link you to a youtube video where you can hear the sound/read the comments. Please comment on any input or alternative solutions you have on this glitch :D It would help very muuuucho.

Glitches stink, so here's some advice: DON'T ACCEPT OPPURTUNITIES YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T FINISH ON TIME K?

Hello thereeee!

Hello everyone! (Well, for now, only myself because I just started :D) I'm super excited to make this blog, and I hope it'll be helpful one day. Here I'm going to post any glitches, tips, pictures, notes, or just plain silly experiences as I go along playing my Sims 3 on the PS3! Also, as soon as I figure out how to utilize blogspot like a BOSS, I'll post my own Sim's family tree. I'm gonna try blogging like crazy the next few days/weeks in order to catch up with my Sims (why didn't I think of this sooner?!) So, I hope you all enjoy! Peace!
